Quick answer
Connect the Pocket over USB-C, open Pocketframe and press Command T. The gimbal turns to keep you centered as you move. Press Command F for a one-time auto frame.
What you need
- Pocketframe Pro
- A DJI Osmo Pocket connected over USB-C
- A Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later
A fixed webcam is fine until you move. Lean back, stand up to show something, or walk to a whiteboard, and you are out of frame. With a gimbal camera like the Osmo Pocket, Pocketframe can turn the camera to keep you centered, smoothly and without anyone behind it.
Turn on face tracking
- Step 1: Connect over USB-CFace tracking, auto frame and Scenes work over the USB-C connection.
- Step 2: Press ⌘TOr click the face button next to the record button. A red frame shows the face Pocketframe is following.
- Step 3: Move naturallyThe gimbal turns with you. It waits for real movement instead of chasing every small motion, so the shot stays calm.
- Step 4: Press ⌘T again to stopThe camera stays where it is. Press C to center it.

Auto frame for a quick setup
If you only want a good starting shot, press ⌘F. Auto frame finds your face once and sets a clean composition with room above your head, then leaves the camera alone.
